Slovakia ETIAS for citizens of Hong Kong

Slovakia has announced the guidelines for the Implementation of an Entry/Exit Quota System for travellers with a valid visa in effect on or after 15th January 2020. The ETIAS (Electronic Travel Information System) will be mandatory for all nationals of Hong Kong who are travelling to Slovakia without a visa permits from 15th January 2020. If you are travelling to Slovakia and your passport has a sticker indicating that you remain exempt from the visa requirement, you will not need to enter Slovakia through the ETIAS system. However, if you are travelling to Slovakia on a pilgrimage or other tourist visit, you will need to use the ETIAS system when you arrive in Slovakia and depart from Slovakia.
