Palestinians hoping to visit Cambodia will now need to acquire a visa in advance, the Cambodian embassy in Ramallah announced last week.

The change in policy comes as a result of the decision by the Cambodian government to no longer allow Palestinians to enter the country on passports issued by the State of Palestine. Palestinian officials said they were surprised by the decision and are working to obtain more information from Cambodian authorities.

Apply For A Cambodia Visa As A Citizen Of Palestinian Territory

As of October 2019, citizens of Palestinian Territory can apply for a Cambodia visa on arrival at Phnom Penh and Siem Reap International Airports, as well as all international border crossings between Cambodia and Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam.

The visa on arrival costs USD30 and is valid for 30 days.Citizens of Palestinian Territory will need to provide the following documents when applying for a Cambodia visa:

  • A passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Cambodia
  • A completed visa application form
  • 2 passport-sized photographs
  • A copy of your flight itinerary or e-ticket
  • Proof of hotel reservation or other accommodation in Cambodia
